Job loss due to Coronavirus is devastating.  This unprecedented event is hard to deal with and also takes a toll on you emotionally. It’s important to stay active and ignite your inner strength to push forward and stay on-track with your career path. I created an action plan for anyone who is experiencing job loss due to Coronavirus to help guide you through the tough situation of navigating though these uncertain times. These are steps I followed to help get me back on track, push forward, and take quick action towards new opportunities.

  • Listen to experts in your field
  • Read books
  • Exercise regularly

  • Immediately update your resume
  • Prepare cover letter
  • Ask friends to review
  • Apply for positions relevant

Let your trusted family and friends know. It’s hard but they will support you through tough times. OR join an online community to help you though these tough times

Schedule Your Day

Each day should be improving your skill-sets and looking for jobs. Don’t lose your great work habits by sleeping in and staying up late. Even eat your breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the same time! Prepare like a champion!

Mindset=Never EVER Give Up

Sometimes our situation gets the most out of us, so be prepared to move past negative thoughts by:

  • Journaling
  • Doing something new and creative
  • Tune in to your favorite influencers
  • Meditate
  • Read about others who’ve gone though similar struggles for inspiration
